1. Envelope Window face/ address label size
2. Use laser compatible paper and inks
Use only 100% “Laser guaranteed” paper and printing ink.
- Non laser compatible paper will curl in the heat process of
laser printing.
- Letterhead printing Inks, especially reds, will bleed when
heated in the laser printing process.
Use a ROLL fold DO NOT use a “Z” fold
To be compatible with inserting machines, and thus save on
inserting costs brochures and letters must be folded using
a ROLL fold.
4. Plastic wrap address sheets
To qualify for Australia Post barcode postage discounts, the address sheet or
“Fly Sheets” used for plastic wrap mailings must have Postage Paid Australia in
the top right hand corner of the Fly Sheet, and a return address in the top left
corner.
(Print Post Discount also requires the Fly Sheet to be printed with a Print Post
Permit number box next to the Postage Paid Australia box.)
5. How to obtain Print Post Postage discount
To qualify for Australia Post Print Post postage discounts, the envelope, (or address
Fly Sheet used for plastic wrap) must have Postage Paid Australia and a Print Post
Permit number in a box in the top right hand corner and a return address on the
left top corner.
Print Post postage discount is applicable when 300 or more
publications are mailed 2 or more times per year.
6.How to obtain Barcode Postage discount
To qualify for Australia Post Barcode postage discounts, the envelope or (address
Fly Sheet used for plastic wrap) must have Postage Paid Australia in the top
right hand corner and a return address in the top left, the addresses must be
barcoded and the mailing quantity must be over 300 letters.
By using live stamps on your mailing you add enormous credibility and trust.
